SIMPLE MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

To achieve the best results, the plaster should be mixed according to the recommended ratio of 1/2 cup of water to 1 1/4 cups of Lightweight Hydrocal powder. Unlike traditional plasters, this mixture requires a different approach as it does not sink when added to water; instead, it must be thoroughly stirred in.

EFFICIENT MOLD PREPARATION

For optimal results, prepare your molds by dipping them in a mixture of water and jet-dry dishwasher additive to reduce surface tension. During pouring, use a handheld massager at the mold’s edge to enhance flow and eliminate bubbles.

EASY SETTING PROCESS

As the plaster sets, there is typically minimal water release, so additional paper towels are optional for absorbing any excess moisture. Once the plaster reaches a toothpaste-like consistency, gently scrape off the excess using a clean metal-edged scraper held at a 45-degree angle for smooth, uniform results.
