Overview:
Whether you prefer power-assisted take-offs, high-starts, or slope soaring, this easy-to-build glider is the perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon.

We’ve gone the extra mile to ensure that the Wayfarer is as easy to build as it is to fly. There’s a wealth of laser-cut balsa and plywood parts that go together straight and true. Laser-cutting even extends to the wing sheeting giving you the perfect fit.

A wing that is 2-meters long can be tough to transport so we’ve designed the Wayfarer’s wing as two, plug-in panels. As a bonus, we’ve also included all the parts needed to make the removable power pod.

Features:

  • 2-Piece wing
    Hauling and storing a 2 meter long wing can be a drag. That’s why we engineered the Wayfarers wing a 2 separate, plug-in panels.
  • WEB-LOCK Construction
    There’s nothing else like it. Build our wings, straight and true – with a minimum amount of fuss.
  • Power Pod
    If you choose to launch via motor assist, we included all the pieces necessary to build this removable power pod.
  • Battery hatch
    Held in place with thumbscrew, this hatch gives you easy access to batteries.
  • Premium USA Hardware
    Included in each Old School Model Works kit is a premium hardware package. We only source our hardware from brand-name, USA manufacturers to guarantee the best quality.
