Pairing the Mamba Micro X2 ESC with the 0808 4100Kv brushless motor, this combo is engineered specifically for 1:18 scale 2WD and 4WD vehicles up to 2.25lbs and compatible with a wide range of popular platforms including the Traxxas Slash 4×4 1/16, Losi Mini-T 2.0, Traxxas LaTrax Rally, Traxxas LaTrax Teton, and Axial Yeti Jr. The X2 ESC steps up from its predecessor with an expanded input voltage range reaching up to 4S, onboard data logging, and Castle’s Cryo-Drive Technology — keeping the ESC running cooler and more efficiently at partial throttle for longer, more consistent sessions. A waterproof design means nearly any environment is fair game, and sensored motor support is available with an optional sensor harness. Six common settings are programmable directly from the transmitter, with expanded configuration and firmware updates accessible via the Windows-based Castle Link software and USB adapter (coupon included) or the Castle Link App for Android and iOS with a B-Link Bluetooth adapter (sold separately). Designed and manufactured in Olathe, Kansas and backed by a one-year manufacturer warranty.

⚠️ Important Notices:

• Input voltage must not exceed 16.8V. Exceeding this limit causes irreparable damage and voids the warranty.
• Minimum recommended battery capacity for 1:18 scale vehicles is 1500mAh. Castle recommends 30C continuous discharge or higher LiPo batteries.
• Battery input wires are bare — a high-current connector rated for at least 40A must be added before use. Castle 4.0mm Polarized, Deans Ultra Plug, or XT60 connectors are recommended.
• Monitor motor and ESC temperatures closely. Never exceed 180°F on either component — overheating will permanently damage motor magnets.
• While waterproof, this ESC is not intended for full submersion. Rinse with clean water after exposure to salt water, corrosives, or heavy dirt. Confirm all vehicle components are waterproof before exposure to liquids.
• Not intended for 1/16 or 1/14 scale vehicles such as the Losi Mini-8ight/T or Traxxas Mini E-Revo.
